FFoQSI staff member DI.in Tamara Rudavsky won the 3rd ELLS Student Presentation Prize at the ELLS Student Conference 2020 in the category of „Food and health for the next generation” for her poster presentation on the topic „How to protect our beloved cheese from spoilage - Influence of different primary production conditions on the concentration of clostridial spores in raw milk”.
FFoQSI Area Leader Rudolf Krska receives Ireland's highest academic award.
A predictive model for the stability of dried herbs based on production parameters and end product analyses. Due to their low altitude and proximity to the ground, herbs are susceptible to contamination with microorganisms. In addition, they are exposed to numerous environmental influences, which leads to strong quality fluctuations and high further processing costs.
The Austrian K1 Competence Center for Feed and Food Quality, Safety and Innovation FFoQSI (www.ffoqsi.at), where a particularly intensive cooperation between BOKU and VetMed Vienna takes place, is already known beyond the borders of the country for its research work.
